D. Ishihara

Deborah Ishihara is a professional legal editor who has edited EELC since it first began in 2009. She is a UK lawyer who trained at Clifford Chance in London and worked as a commercial lawyer there for a number of years. She then moved to the charity sector to advise on education law and then on to the public sector, where she set up and managed a team of investigators in an Ombudsman service, dealing with health and social care law. At the same time she served as a magistrate in the criminal and family courts. She has edited employment-related legal material for almost ten years for various clients and is currently based in Brussels, as the Knowledge Manager at Ius Laboris, an international Alliance of employment law firms.
